New Showroom Now Open

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Design Furniture’s new showroom is now officially open!

One of the highlights of our grand opening was the presence of industry experts Cam Warwick from Warwick Fabrics and Sarah Fox from Mokum Textiles. As key speakers at the event, they shared their invaluable insights into the latest interior design trends for 2024. Their expertise and passion for design left our guests feeling inspired and eager to embark on their own design journeys.

The Jungle Room

Taking inspiration from the maximalist collection by Academy Award Winning Catherine Martin for Mokum, The Jungle Room is the ultimate display of “more is more”. Bringing together contrasting animal prints and a broad spectrum of colours, this collection screams opulence and 1970s nostalgia and illustrates the glamour of Elvis’s rock and roll lifestyle.

The maximalist patterns of the collection are underpinned by a divine silk-look velvet plain and an artisanal handloomed drapery.

Tropically scented palm greens, deep teals, whisky tinged blush pinks, and burnished gold are set into a base of refined neutrals, constructing a rich, heady colour palette.

The Retreat

In  contrast to The Jungle Room, The Retreat is all about creating a sense of calm. With a neutral colour palette and tactile textures, this space radiates a sense of well-being through careful curation of materials, colours and details.

The Ari Bed has been upholstered in Earthwild by James Dunlop FibreGuard. Crafted from a sustainable blend of recycled polyester, organic cotton and linen this tactile upholstery features a soft touch and advanced FibreGuard technology. Offering accessible luxury, Earthwild features a chunky irregular weave designed to complement an array of furniture styles from modular to mid-century. With permanent stain resistance, Earthwild has been piece-dyed in a versatile palette of timeless neutrals and mineral-inspired hues of blue, green and pigmented ochre.

Classic Contemporary

Classic contemporary interior design, especially when it comes to beds, embodies a timeless aesthetic that seamlessly blends traditional elements with modern sophistication. The beautifully crafted headboard is a simple yet refined design, upholstered in luxurious fabrics.

The color palette is neutral and soothing, creating a serene atmosphere that promotes relaxation and tranquility, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Paired with minimalistic yet tasteful bedding, featuring crisp linens, and decorative throw pillows for added texture and warmth. The overall look of this range is refined, inviting, and effortlessly chic, making it a timeless choice for any bedroom space.

The Dining Room

In this new space we have showcased our custom dining chairs along side the new Cube Sofa.

The Cube Sofa style is a contemporary and versatile seating option that offers flexibility and customisation to fit various living spaces.

One of the key features of Cube Sofa is its ability to adapt to different room layouts and configurations therefore making them suitable for both small and large spaces.

In terms of aesthetics, the Cube Sofa boasts a sleek and minimalist appearance, with square or rectangular-shaped modules and slim profiles. This contemporary design lends a modern and sophisticated vibe to any interior setting.

Introducing the Palazzo Sofa: A harmonious blend of contemporary aesthetics and indulgent comfort. It features a graceful curved silhouette, accentuated by meticulous stitching. Enveloped in soft boucle upholstery, this sofa offers a tactile experience, inviting you to sink into it.

Classic Traditional

Classic traditional style furniture embodies timeless elegance and sophistication, drawing inspiration from historical periods such as the Renaissance, Baroque, and Victorian eras. Characterised by ornate details and rich materials, this style exudes luxury and refinement.

For our Oma chair and ottoman, we’ve used a stripe weave fabric accented with a lemon grove watercolour motif inspired by traditional gardens, this fabric brings a touch of nature’s beauty to your home.  Traditional turned legs complete this traditional look.
